Meal times are celebrations for the food that nourishes us all. We strive to serve food that is delicious, consciously prepared, and local/organic as much as possible. Meals and snacks are provided for all participants during Siach.
The guidelines that help us craft our menus are the following:
Kosher: During Siach, all the food served and the facility are kosher – please respect the standards of kashrut by resisting the temptation to bring in food from home. There will be a mashgiach (supervisor for kashrut) on site during all food preparation and food service.
Seasonal: In the early days of spring, the ground is just warming up and seedlings are beginning to both take root and sprout upwards. Our menu will feature seasonal produce as much as possible.
Organic: We have asked our hosts to use as much organic as possible as well, so while we can’t guarantee your meals during the conference are 100% organic, they are pretty close.
